NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN FOR APPOINTMENT OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO THE KARIONG SAND AND SOIL SUPPLIES FACILITY CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE

Want to contribute to your community?

Many State significant projects in NSW have Community Consultative Committees.

These committees provide a forum for open dialogue between the proponent and representative of the local community, stakeholder groups and local councils on issues directly relating to the project.

We are looking for a mix of people who live locally or are members of a stakeholder group (community, environment, Aboriginal or industry) to join our new Kariong Sand and Soil Supplies Facility Consultative Committee. This is a State significant development with the Development Application approved by the Independent Planning Commission in December 2021 and construction is scheduled to start shortly.

Your role as a committee member is voluntary.

Selection criteria: You will be expected to contribute constructively to committee discussions, attend around (four) meetings a year, and community information about Kariong Sand and Soil Supplies Facility between the committee and the broader community.

If you would like to apply, download a copy of the relevant nomination form at [INSERT DPE WEBSITE DETAILS TBC]. Contact [INSERT INDEPENDENT CHAIRPERSON DETAILS TBC] at [INSERT INDEPENDENT CHAIRPERSON CONTACT DETAILS] for more information.
